# Not Red

How many times we have seen brides going for out of the ordinary colors rather than the traditional red or pink? The first time we draped a bride in a blue lehenga, we were like gosh, it’s such a refreshing and bold color to experiment with and since then there’s nothing we love more than a bride who loves to experiment. She knows all the “wedding rules” (red lehenga for the wedding, hair up in a bun) but the cool new bride will ditch these expectations to create her own fabulous wedding!

Red is the first choice of many as far as their wedding lehenga is concerned. Red is one of the most beautiful colors and suits the Indian skin tone, but why stick to the basic when you have a whole world of different colors as well? Don’t play safe and embrace different shades at your wedding.

We have got some gorgeous real brides who ditched red and looked absolutely flawless on their wedding day

#1 Mint Green

Who would have thought that mint green would be one? From red to maroon to pink to green – we’re loving the change in the color from dark tones to pastels. Be it thread work, sequin, gota patti, or shimmer, everything looks great on a mint lehenga

#2 Lilac or Ultraviolet

Lilac or ultraviolet are so amazingly unconventional & refreshing, and has got the celebratory vibe on point! For all of you reading this and who want to wear a richly-embroidered ensemble on their wedding day, this can be a classy combination of beauty and elegance. Style it with a pastel net dupatta highlighted in sequins work and ultra violet embroidered border. Design your own choli with matching laces. Pair the set with classic gold earrings and there you go!
